The relationship between identity based and class struggles is being discussed in many countries. What is the relationship between them, and how do the conflicts between them influence the social resistance? Is it possible to develop a united struggle?

14.00 – 14.30: Trade unions and the climate crisis – where do we stand?
Historically, the climate crisis is the latest, dramatic threat we face. It is an area in which we cannot negotiate or compromise; we either do what is necessary to avoid global warming, or we have to take the dramatic consequences of climate catastrophes. Are the trade unions able to lead the struggle? What kind of alliances do we need – and are we able to build them?
